## Villa Azzurra, Nice Perched in the hills above the Baie des Anges, this restored Provençal villa looks straight out over the Mediterranean. Mornings start on the terrace with coffee and the sound of cicadas; evenings end in the heated infinity pool watching the lights of Nice come on below. **The space** - Four bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms - Open kitchen with a 10-seat olive wood table - Shaded terrace, outdoor grill and heated infinity pool - 12 minutes by car to Promenade des Anglais **Getting around** Nice Côte d'Azur airport is 20 minutes away. There's free parking for two cars, and the bus to Vieux Nice stops at the end of the lane.

The photos genuinely do not do this place justice. We had eight of us and never once felt crowded. Sofia left a map of her favorite coves and every single one was worth the drive. The pool at sunset is something I'll think about for years.
